Where do I start? We started planning our wedding back in summer of 2024 and the only thing my partner asked for was to choose the band, of course we booked three card trick after seeing their videos on YouTube, we instantly knew this was the band we had to book. I kid you not, when people asked what we were most looking forward too we were like the band! We hadn't really had any couple nights out since welcoming our children in 2011 and 2016, no family to babysit etc so we were absolutely buzzing for the wedding, it was quite honestly the best day of my life and the band was phenomenal, they played our first dance and all ours and the guests requests and were engaging with everyone. I did get quite teary eyed towards the end cause I was just so happy I didn't want the night to end, Gary mentioned they had a few gigs coming up and welcomed us along and we had our first childless night out last night, absolutely fantastic night. I'm so happy the guys were apart of our wedding day, they were absolutely amazing and I'm so so gutted the wedding day is now over.
Really nice to work with and had the whole wedding party dancing for three hours straight! Accommodated our request to play mostly Kerrang bangers for most of the night and taking requests the whole time. Great band, hoping to see them live again when they play locally as well!
Three Card Trick were everything we could have hoped for in a wedding band! Initially sold on the massive catalogue they have and the videos of Gary taking requests and learning songs on the spot, they delivered more than we could have wanted on the evening itself. If you think they sound good in their videos, they sounded even better live, nailing our first dance song and keeping the party going thereafter. Their ability to sense the room and play to the tastes of the crowd was brilliant and we didn't have an empty dance floor all night, especially when they picked up that there were loads of rock and metal fans, gradually getting heavier as the night went on! We even had a wee mosh pit which was class. We only gave the band a few suggestions of what we liked and let them design the set list based on their experience and they absolutely nailed it, so definitely trust their industry experience. All of our guests reported that they'd never seen a band quite like it and thoroughly enjoyed the music all night, including the bits of ceilidh dancing thrown in, and the heavy rendition of 500 miles at the end of the evening which was brilliant! A massive thank you to Gary and the band, best wedding band around for sure!
